Kutcha

Pastel 2009.  I created Kutcha for a local business woman of her long-time faithful companion. I met Kutcha a few years ago when she was a puppy and her mum thought that 2009 was Kutcha’s time for a sitting, as she wasn’t getting any younger and her looks could go at any time! (Kutcha, not her mum) Kutcha graciously posed for some time until she got tired of my fussing and went under the house for a nap. Trying to coax the blue heeler out from her favourite snooze spot was near impossible, but the end result was a brilliant portrait of a beautiful, slightly jaded blue girl.
