Jezza

Pastel and pencil, 2011. I was given a few photos of this lovely girl a few months ago, and I thought about how I wanted to present this for a while. The portrait was for a friend of mine, who is going through her own personal battle with illness.  Jezza was no longer with her, and she wanted a nice memory of her beautiful companion – so I wanted to do this right. I hope that I have brought out her true personality in this portrait, just like her mum would want.
