Helloooo dear fur-fans. Well, I’ve been out and about recently, not only doing a tour of my island, but of another island. I’ve been taking in the sights and sounds of Stradbroke island, fur-fans, and I have to say that I enjoyed myself immensely. The drive was fabulous, of course, and I didn’t miss a moment as I caught the breeze out the window and waved to my adoring fans as I went by. The barge trip over was lovely, and Mum provided me with snacks and refreshments on the journey. I was ready to see the sights and meet and greet, I can tell you! The island was a lovely adventure and we were able to alight from the vehicle to do a bit of sniff-exploration of the area. I found a lovely spot for my abolutions in a park near the shops at Dunwich. Then we were off to the holiday accommodation and the meeting and greeting of guests.
I have to say fur-fans, that while the party atmosphere may be congruent for human activity and entertainment, it was not so congruent to my delicate disposition. I spent the evening trying to find a nice quite spot to hide from all the shananigans until it died down. I found a lovely spot on somebody’s bed and hid under the bedcovers until I was discovered.
Although I was on my best behaviour, my nerves were raw, and I proceeded to bark nervously at any passers by while Mum was trying to sleep. Needless to say, nobody got any sleep that night, including me.
The following day we were off on another adventure around the island, and I redeemed myself once again by being the perfect lady, waving goodbye to new friends and finding new fans along the way.
It was very good to be home once again fur-fans, I am certain I must have slept for over 12 hours, and almost missed the dinner bell.
Until next time…
